This year the Frankfurt christmas market returns to Birmingham. Located just minutes’ walk from City Nites, Birmingham's German Christmas Market has become a huge favourite with both residents and visitors to the city from all over the UK and Europe. It is now the largest outdoor Christmas Market in the country, filled with excitement and smiling faces as 180 stalls fill Victoria Square and Upper New Street.

World Championship Fighters Lay Weary heads at City Nites Following Annual Event
Birmingham, 16th September, 2011 – The 7th event of the British Association of Mixed Martial Arts (BAMMA) took place recently at Birmingham’s NIA, bringing the British version of the American UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championships) to the second city – with title fights including World Lightweight Championship and British Middleweight Championship. Some of the fighters relaxed in comfort following the event, as City Nites – specialists in luxury serviced apartments - accommodated a number of the fighters including Tom ‘Kong’ Watson, who beat Katie Price’s ex-husband Alex Reid at last year’s BAMMA event at the NIA. Tom was in attendance at BAMMA 7, but had to pull out of his scheduled fight due to an injury.

THE company which runs Birmingham’s premier serviced apartments is diversified into the film world in a bid to keep ahead of the recession.
City Nites, which rents out luxury serviced apartments to customers wanting an alternative to staying in a hotel, has tied up deals with production companies wanting to shoot films and television series at its Edward Street complex. The first film crew to take advantage of City Nites started filming their this week and the place was a buzz with cast and crew throughout the day.
