John Karban"We've read mixed reviews about self-catering apartments so were a little apprehensive as we normally stay at the excellent City Inn or Novotel in central Birmingham but decided to give it a go as the rates were comparable. Well, we needn't have worried. Our suite was excellent, so spacious. Ideal for the NIA, Brindleyplace, and Broad Street areas. Wonderful "Prince of Wales" pub around the corner, haven of Victoriana among cutting-edge modernism. We absolutely loved it. All that space! Everything worked (OK, two lightbulbs were out), well-equipped, and everything was in good nick (well, a misaligned kitchen cupboard is hardly worth mentioning). It was freezing outside but the electric wall heaters kept the place nice and cosy. We're converted and will stay here again every time we come to Birmingham for a trip. Cont: Of course you're welcome to use my comments on your website, I meant every word. Indeed, I was being quite restrained as I didn't think that being too gushing would be taken seriously by other readers. I'm happy to say that both my partner and I were well impressed. I don't know much about the hospitality trade but I can imagine that keeping a place yours in good nick with a high volume of short-term stays must be a challenge. The fact that you clearly rise to it is testimony itself. We're both converts, and will not even think of looking anywhere else next time we come up to Birmingham for a short break (yes, you can quote that, too!). Our thanks to you for helping make our stay so memorable."
